AFAR'S FRAGILE EXISTENCE

Spoken by a tiny population in the arid regions of East Africa, Afar is a historically exceptional language facing mounting challenges. Because of its vibrant history and beliefs, Afar is increasingly at risk of extinction. The main influences contributing to Afar's fragile position include population shifts and the spread of major languages. Addi
